Get ready for June

New IOS 19 showcased on 9 June - invitation hints at completely new look

This year's apple season begins as usual in June, but now Apple has officially announced the date.

Apple announced today that this year's developer conference WWDC 2025 will be held from 9-13 June, with an extra twist to strengthen the community among Apple's developers. On 9 June, developers and students are invited to an exclusive special event on-site at Apple Park.

At the conference, the new version of IOS, which is IOS 19, will be showcased, along with new versions of Watch OS for Apple Watch and Ipad OS for Ipad. The most interesting is IOS, as there are preliminary reports from insiders that the system will get a completely new design. It is said to be the biggest overhaul of the iPhone's operating system since IOS 7, changing both the design and adding many new features. The invitation is said to hint at the new design direction, which takes inspiration from Vision OS, Apple's operating system in the Vision Pro headset. It has glass-like surfaces, and other Apple systems are also expected to receive a similar refresh.

During the day, the usual keynote, where Apple's CEO Tim Cook, along with other leading Apple representatives, presents upcoming products and news, will be broadcast live both online and from Apple Park. This hybrid format marks Apple's effort to combine high-tech innovation with a personal and direct experience.
