It is possible to share files quickly and wirelessly between an Iphone and a Xiaomi phone or tablet. Think of it as a mix between Xiaomi Share and Apple's Airdrop.

File transfer to and from iPhone with iOS app

By downloading the Xiaomi Interconnectivity app to an iPhone, that phone suddenly gains the ability to speak the same language as Xiaomi phones and tablets. This means you can easily send and receive files, pictures, and videos quickly and wirelessly between Xiaomi devices and iPhone. 

The only thing you need to do to get started is to open the app on your iPhone (or iPad). Now you can wirelessly send and receive files, pictures, and videos between iPhone, iPad, and Xiaomi devices. 

On the Xiaomi device being used, you should activate Xiaomi Share. You do this in the dropdown menu with quick selections, or when you choose the pictures or videos you want to send. As soon as you do this, your device appears as accessible in the iPhone/iPad app as well.
