No more illumination on the back

Nothing scraps Glyph lighting

There will be no informative lighting on the next Nothing Phone as they choose to remove the rear LED lights.

Nothing announces that they have decided to scrap the LED lights that were previously placed on the back of the phone, a feature called the Glyph Interface. The decision is based on the limited practical use of the lights, as they were most effective when the phone was placed face down. Instead, the company is considering introducing a new design, such as a dot matrix display, to give the phone a unique expression.
