Aims to challenge internationally

Banking app Revolut becomes a mobile operator

Revolut becomes a virtual operator in several European countries. Thus, the banking app expands its offering, especially for those who travel a lot.

Revolut is one of the more popular banking apps in Sweden and internationally, allowing you to send money internationally, shop, and manage personal finances app-based.

The mobile subscription from Revolut is set to include free SMS, calls, and unlimited data in the home country, as well as 20 GB included roaming in the EU and USA. The price is expected to be equivalent to approximately 160 kronor per month.

To some extent, Revolut has already quietly launched. One of their existing offers today is to provide eSIM and access to the Revolut app in over 100 countries without using your own data allowance.

The new subscriptions that Revolut will offer are set to launch before the end of the year, and the first two countries are the United Kingdom and Germany. More countries are to follow, and one of the starting points for Revolut in the initial phase is to save British users from many roaming charges that have been introduced since the country left the EU.

There is already a waiting list for users in the United Kingdom and Germany, and the price tag of approximately 160 kronor per month, or 12.50 British pounds, is to be an introductory offer. There is still no information on which countries Revolut will launch the service in next or which network operators will become the company's partners.
