Hum in the app

Better alternatives to Shazam: Hum, sing yourself or play music and the app will tell you the song title and artist

Most known for music recognition is probably the app Shazam, but the fact is that the regular Google app can do it and also recognise songs you hum or sing yourself.

The Google app that comes with Android phones and can be downloaded for iOS can do much more than just search with words. It can also recognise music. It works by pressing the note displayed on the app's homepage. This is an example of the advantage of downloading the Google app instead of just going to Google in the phone's browser. The app can do more.

With the music search, you can sing or hum yourself or let the phone listen to a song playing, for example, on the radio. Wait a few seconds and you will then have the result presented to you.
