Samsung Galaxy S25 gets Android 16 this summer

Google's Pixel phones are expected to receive the final version of Android 16 in June, but Samsung is also said to be in the starting blocks.

Google has announced that the upcoming version Android 16, which will be officially launched for Pixel devices as early as June 2025, will also make its debut on Samsung devices during the summer. According to information from Google I/O, Samsung is expected to start testing Android 16 with the One UI 8 beta, where devices like the Galaxy S25 will be among the first to receive a preview version. There are also indications that the final version may be introduced in conjunction with the launch of the new foldable models Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, which are expected to be presented in July or early August.
