Rendered images and specifications have emerged revealing Sony's upcoming flagship Xperia 1 VII.

Rendered images claimed to depict Sony's next flagship phone Xperia 1 VII have been published by the leaker Onleaks via the publication Xpertpick. The design is true to Sony's tradition, with clear frames and no punch-hole cameras. On the back, the cameras are placed in a vertical line in the upper left corner. The focus is said to be on traditional features and top performance. 

According to reports, the phone's external dimensions are 161.9 x 74.5 x 8.5 millimetres, which matches the predecessor's dimensions. The screen is expected to be around 6.5 inches this time as well. 

Inside, the Xperia 1 VII is said to offer a Snapdragon 8 Elite complemented by 16 gigabytes of RAM and up to 512 gigabytes of storage. The model also retains popular features such as a headphone jack, memory card slot, and fingerprint reader integrated into the power button. 

The launch is believed to take place in the spring or early summer of 2025, with May as a possible presentation date.
