Refined April Fool's joke revealed Oneplus's next 'mini' phone

A small phone with a large battery set to be released this month. This was suggested by Oneplus when they posted an April Fool's joke, and the information has since been confirmed.

The April Fool's joke was about Oneplus launching a fictional product called Oneplus Hammer. This hammer can change the shape of objects and make them smaller, without losing performance.

Since it is an April Fool's joke, it is difficult to draw conclusions about reality from the film, but at the end of the story, Oneplus creates a new phone called Oneplus 13T, and it is small without having worse performance than a larger phone.

We have previously reported on unconfirmed rumours about a Oneplus 13 Mini, but in the film, Oneplus talks instead about a Oneplus 13T, and since the film with the April Fool's joke was published, the company's country manager in China has confirmed that Oneplus 13T is coming and that the battery capacity will be at least 6000 mAh. Previous rumours have suggested that the phone will also get Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 6.3-inch screen, and the weight is confirmed to be 185 grams.

Given the previous rumours about a “Oneplus 13 Mini,” we now know that the phone that is coming does not quite live up to the name “Mini” since the screen, according to unconfirmed information, is 6.3 inches and thus larger than previous Mini models from other manufacturers. But Oneplus 13T at least seems to be smaller than the standard model Oneplus 13, 

So we will learn more about this phone sometime before April is over.
