Cheaper Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE Plus official

The two new tablets from Samsung cost 7500 or 10,000 kronor. That is about half the price of what the top models in the S10 series cost.

Samsung's two new tablets are 10.9 and 13.1 inches, respectively. They come with a pen that attaches magnetically to the edge on the smaller tablet, and to the back on the larger tablet.

These are therefore cheaper versions of the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and S10 Ultra tablets that were released in October last year. In the new tablets, which are called Tab S10 FE and S10 FE Plus, we get LCD screens instead of the more expensive OLED screens, and we get simpler performance.

The S10 FE family comes with Android 15 and One UI 7. Here we get Google's Circle to Search to use AI to search for what is currently displayed on the screen, without needing to switch between different apps. Some of Samsung's own AI services are also included in the tablets.

- Today we use tablets for everything from work and studies to relaxation at home on the sofa. With the new Galaxy Tab S10 FE series, we have focused on sharper screens, improved performance, and smart AI features that make it easier to search, take notes, edit, and organise - while simultaneously switching between multiple apps without hassle, says Anders Elmby, MX-Director at Samsung Electronics.

You can, for example, delete distracting parts of an image with AI, interpret written text in images into editable text, and have text on web pages read aloud to you with speech synthesis. It is therefore a slimmed-down set of AI services. In the same way that Samsung's A series of phones lack Galaxy AI and have more limited AI features than the S25, a lot of AI services are missing here that are available in the S10 Plus and Ultra. In addition to some AI services from the more expensive models being absent, those that are present are also inferior to those in the more expensive S10 models. An example of this can be seen below in the slideshow. There, I took a picture on the tablet and then in the following images removed it with object erasure, first with the function in Tab S10 FE, then with the function in S25 Ultra.
