Galaxy Watch Models Measure Sleep Incorrectly

Samsung presents suggestions for temporary solutions until they have resolved the issue.

Published Modified

Samsung has confirmed that several of the latest Galaxy Watch models have issues with sleep tracking. On a Samsung Community forum in Korea, it is noted that the popular models Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, as well as Galaxy Watch 4, 5, and 6, may display incorrect sleep-related metrics in the Samsung Health app.

Some quick solutions have been proposed for users affected by these issues. Samsung recommends that you first turn off and restart your device. Additionally, it is suggested that you enable and then disable power-saving mode via the watch's settings and ensure you have the latest version of the Samsung Health app from the Galaxy Store.

Samsung is working on an updated version of the app to permanently fix the issue. Since the statement has so far only been published on a Korean forum, it is unclear whether this affects all markets or if it is region-specific, but the company has been informed and more details are expected to come.
