iPad gets new wind beneath its wings

New iPad Air with Apple's M3 Chip

Less than a year after the iPad Air with the M2 chip, Apple launches an updated iPad Air with M3 and new Magic Keyboard

Apple has introduced an updated version of the iPad Air where the previous M2 chip is replaced with the new M3 model. The upgraded model is launched less than a year after the introduction of the iPad Air with M2, featuring denser architecture, higher performance, and lower energy consumption.

The iPad Air is available in two sizes - 11 inches and 13 inches - and is offered in the colours blue, purple, starlight, and space grey. Storage options are 128, 256, 512 gigabytes or 1 terabyte, and the price for the 11-inch model starts at 8495 SEK, while the 13-inch variant costs from 11495 SEK.

The iPad Air with M3 will be available on 12 March but can be pre-ordered now on Apple's website.

At the same time, Apple announces a new Magic Keyboard for the iPad Air. The keyboard, which resembles the design of the keyboards for iPad Pro, is equipped with a larger built-in trackpad and a row of 14 function keys. These keys allow quick access to, among other things, screen brightness and volume controls. The new keyboard is offered in white and costs 3795 SEK for the 11-inch model and 4295 SEK for the 13-inch model.
