399 kronor becomes 449

Three Sweden Increases Prices on Mobile Subscriptions

Tre announces that they are raising their prices for existing customers.

Three is implementing a price increase on its subscriptions, which affects you if you have an existing subscription or sign up for a new one. The increase will be implemented on 11 April, but those who sign up for a new subscription today will receive the new, higher prices immediately. However, customers with a binding period will not be affected until that binding period expires.

Three justifies the price increase with a "changed global situation with increased costs".

The price change means that, for example, a subscription with unlimited data that previously cost 399 kronor per month will instead cost 449 kronor after the price increase, an increase of approximately 12.5 percent.

Can choose with binding period

As a customer, if you want to remain a customer with Three, it is possible to lower the price by binding the subscription for 24 months. With a binding period of 24 months, customers receive a discount of 20 kronor per month, so that 449 kronor during the binding period instead becomes 429 kronor.

The subscriptions Three now offers consist of the cheapest subscription 6GB which costs 229 kronor per month with binding or 249 without binding, we have the 25 GB subscription for 329 kronor or 349 without binding period and lastly the unlimited for 429 kronor or 449 kronor without binding period.

Tre are not alone in raising their prices. Recently, Tele2 has also announced a similar increase in their prices.
