Surf past censorship with new technology

NordVPN new launch: Will bypass censorship

By hiding not only the content but also the traffic itself, NordVPN aims to bypass censorship and restrictions.

NordVPN has recently introduced what they call NordWhisper, which is a new VPN protocol that works differently from the usual ways of blocking VPN traffic.

Traditional VPN protocols can often be identified and blocked by networks that actively oppose VPN usage, precisely because VPN technology can be detected. NordWhisper uses a new technology that mimics regular web traffic, making it virtually impossible for filters to detect and block. The technology allows users to continue to benefit from strong encryption and high security standards, even on networks where VPN usage is normally restricted.

However, it is pointed out that while NordWhisper is indeed a very promising technology, it is important to note that it is still under development. Due to its unique way of bypassing blocks, it may in some cases, for example, be slower than traditional VPN protocols. NordVPN therefore recommends that users continue to use other protocols on regular networks.

NordWhisper is being launched gradually and will initially be available for users of Windows, Android, and Linux. Support for additional platforms is expected to follow shortly. Users can easily activate NordWhisper manually via the settings in the NordVPN software.
