Phone for special needs

Doro launches phone for people with dementia

The new phone from Doro is aimed equally at users and their relatives.

The manufacturer Doro is perhaps best known for creating mobile phones for seniors. Now they are launching the new model Doro Leva X10, which is specially designed for people with dementia and neurodiversity.

The phone's features are designed to increase security and facilitate communication for both users and their relatives. This includes blocking unwanted calls to reduce the risk of fraud attempts, GPS positioning with an alarm button to alert relatives, and a safety timer and reminders to, for example, remember medications. It is also possible to set different user modes where the mobile can be adapted to the user's needs.

The mobile has large, clear, and tactile buttons that are easy to handle, as well as only four speed dial buttons for selected contacts, and an interface where contacts are displayed with pictures. It is also possible to block menus to reduce the risk of confusion for the user.

Doro Leva X10 is available now with a price tag of 1995 kronor.
