How to get started with your new Google TV streamer.

Don't forget the cable. To connect the Google TV Streamer, you need an HDMI cable, which is not included in the package. This is one of the updates.

The Google TV Streamer is a small box with a remote control and a power cable with an adapter that you plug into the wall socket. To connect it to the TV, you need an HDMI cable (2.1 certified), but it is not included, so you need to buy it separately if you don't already have one. In addition, you also need a Google account to log in once you're up and running. The Google account needs to be personal and not linked to a company. If you have a private Gmail address, then you have a personal Google account. Internet is also required, and the Google TV Streamer can be connected either via an Ethernet cable or wirelessly to Wi-Fi. Last but certainly not least, you obviously need a TV with an HDMI input, as the Google TV Streamer is a box that turns existing TV sets, even slightly older ones, into smart and connected ones.
