A Reddit user who goes by the name OceanDepth95028 has brought out an old Nokia Lumia 1020 and given it new life with the help of iOS. However, this is not about running iOS instead of Windows on a Lumia 1020; rather, the homemade project involves parts from an iPhone SE 3 being mounted in a Lumia 1020 chassis. The creation has been named NokiApple LumiPhone 1020 SE.

The work has been more extensive than just changing the chassis, including making it work with a fingerprint reader on the back of the phone, adding a customised SIM card slot, making a Lightning port look like a micro-USB port, and moving some buttons to fit the Lumia chassis.

The finished result functions fully as an iPhone SE 3 with support for 5G and operating system updates via OTA (Over The Air). According to the creator, the only things that do not work are payments via Apple Pay and wireless charging.
