Xiaomi introduces its first Wi-Fi headphones

Xiaomi launches Xiaomi Buds Pro 5 in two different versions, one of which uses a wireless network.

Xiaomi introduces two versions of its fifth generation of the Xiaomi Buds Pro earphones. 

The standard Xiaomi Buds Pro 5 utilise Snapdragon Sound and Qualcomm aptX Lossless technology to offer lossless music transmission with 48kHz/24bit and a transfer rate of up to 2.1 Mbps. They have also enlisted the help of the Harman Golden Ear Team to create the highest quality sound possible. 

In addition to sound performance, the earphones also feature a hybrid version of active noise cancellation that reduces ambient noise by up to 55dB. Other features include AI-driven translation and transcription, spatial audio, and the ability to record audio via the charging case. 

Xiaomi Buds Pro 5

The battery life is up to 4.5 hours and a total of 40 hours with the charging case. Xiaomi Buds Pro 5 will be launched in Sweden at the end of March with a price tag of 2490 kronor. 

 

Xiaomi is also releasing the Xiaomi Buds Pro 5 (Wi-Fi) which, as the name suggests, uses Wi-Fi for data transmission. It is the company's first earphones with Wi-Fi technology and offers Snapdragon Sound Qualcomm XPAN technology, and the Wi-Fi connection to the mobile provides a transmission of 96kHz/24bit and a speed of up to 4.2 Mbps, as well as specialised sound profiles. The battery life is up to 40 hours including the case.

Xiaomi Buds Pro 5 (Wi-Fi) will be launched at the end of March with a price tag of 2990 kronor.
