Xiaomi 15 Ultra gets global launch

Xiaomi chief states that the new flagship will be released simultaneously in China and globally.

Xiaomi is preparing to launch its next flagship phone, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, soon. It is Lu Weibing, Xiaomi's head of the mobile phone department, who according to the publication ITHome has revealed that 15 Ultra is planned to debut sometime next month. Weibing does not mention any date, but it will likely be shortly after the Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival.

What makes the announcement a bit special is that Weibing confirmed that Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be released simultaneously in China and globally. This is a significant change compared to before, when international customers often had to wait longer for new models.
