Sony has started rolling out the final version of Android 15 to its flagship phone Xperia 1 V. It may also be the last major Android update for that model, despite being released in 2023. The reason is that the Xperia 1 V was launched with Android 13, and with the update to Android 15, it has now received two major system versions. Generally, Sony offers two new Android versions and three years of security updates, which may mean that this upgrade is the last. However, security updates will continue for another year.
