Oneplus Makes Major Mistake

Sharp-eyed users have discovered an irrelevant yet still mistake with the Oneplus Watch 3.

Oneplus has done a lot right with its latest smartwatch, the Oneplus Watch 3, so much so that we gave it 8 out of 10 in our review. Now it turns out that they have made a small mistake with the watch, a mistake that is fortunately more entertaining than serious. 

On the back of the watch, there is a lot of information, including that it is made in China. However, it does not say “Made in China” on the watch, but all proofreaders and probably some technicians have missed that it is misspelled and instead written “Meda in China”. Something that Reddit users have noticed and documented. 

Now one might think that it is some prankster who wants to tease Oneplus, but even the company's own rendering of the back of the watch on their own websites shows the same odd spelling mistake. 

How widespread the spelling mistake is, no one knows.
