Oneplus 13 Mini may become a small, compact flagship

According to new information, Oneplus 13 and Oneplus 13R may be joined by Oneplus 13 Mini as early as March.

We have tested both the Oneplus 13, which is a true flagship with Snapdragon 8 Elite, and we have tested the Oneplus 13R, which is a slightly cheaper model. Now leaks suggest that a third phone in the family might be on the way, and it is a smaller model, a Oneplus 13 Mini, with the same flagship performance and Snapdragon 8 Elite as the top model.

This would be a new strategy from Oneplus. Samsung and Google release their flagships in several sizes, and Apple previously had the now-discontinued iPhone Mini. Generally, the impression among many manufacturers is that significantly more people say they want a small phone than actually buy small phones when they have the option.

According to the unconfirmed information now coming from the leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Oneplus 13 Mini has a launch date in March, presumably during the MWC fair in Barcelona at the beginning of the month. According to the information, the phone will have a 6.31-inch screen, compared to the regular Oneplus 13 which is 6.82 inches and the Samsung Galaxy S25 whose screen is 6.2 inches. Instead of three cameras on the back, the Oneplus 13 Mini is said to have a main camera of 50 megapixels and a telephoto camera also of 50 megapixels with 2x optical zoom.
