Gemini expands
Google launches more Gemini extensions
Gemini now receives a range of new extensions to improve integration with Google apps.
Google's artificial intelligence Gemini, which previously enabled interaction with apps and services such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Flights, and YouTube via its extensions, is now further expanding its ecosystem. Now, a range of new extensions is being launched, including support for Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Keep notes, and messaging functions. This means that users can communicate directly with Gemini to perform tasks such as creating calendar events, making notes, setting recurring alarms, and calling or sending messages to contacts.
This expansion of features allows users to more easily manage their daily tasks through natural language instructions, either via text or voice. Gemini aims to become a central hub for personal productivity by bringing several services under one roof.
The new extensions have already started rolling out in Swedish and are expected to be available on iOS within the next few weeks.
