On the way out

Samsung begins phasing out the Galaxy S21 series

The popular Galaxy S21 series is getting old, so now the update frequency is being reduced.

Now it has been four years since Samsung's Galaxy S21 series was launched, which among other things means that the three models will not receive their security updates as often. Instead of being updated monthly as before, the models will now be updated quarterly for the coming year before being phased out completely.

However, all S21 models will be updated with Android 15 and One UI 7, but that is also the last Android version they will be upgraded to.

This does not apply to the Galaxy S21 FE model, which will continue to receive monthly updates for a while longer.
