Oppo has presented its latest foldable mobile, Find N5, which is claimed to be the market's thinnest foldable mobile. In the folded state, the mobile is 8.93 millimetres thick - that is, roughly in line with a normal "non-foldable" mobile. The weight is 229 grams, which is also in line with traditional mobiles. When the device is unfolded, it measures only 4.21 millimetres in thickness, which is close to the limit of what the USB-C port's physical dimensions allow. The thin design has been made possible, among other things, thanks to a new type of hinge.

The foldable inner screen is an 8.12-inch OLED panel with FHD+ resolution, HDR10+ support, and an adaptive refresh rate between 1-120 Hz thanks to LTPO technology. The brightness is up to 2100 nits. On the outside, there is a secondary LTPO OLED screen of 6.62 inches with FHD+ resolution, HDR10+, and an aspect ratio of 20.7:9. This screen also has an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120 Hz. Both screens are compatible with Oppo's digital pen, which is sold separately.

Under the hood, there is a customised variant of Snapdragon 8 Elite along with 16 gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes of UFS 4.0 storage.

Despite the thin profile, Oppo has managed to include a battery of 5600 mAh with support for 80 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging.

Oppo Find N5 also has an IPX9 rating, which means it is very resistant to water and moisture, but still lacks protection against dust and dirt.

On the back, there is a primary camera of 50 megapixels, complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The front camera is 8 megapixels.

Find N5 is equipped with a capacitive fingerprint reader placed on the side for quick and secure unlocking. The device comes with Android 15, and Oppo promises four years of major system updates and six years of security updates.

No European price has been announced yet, but it is expected to be somewhere around 20,000 kronor.
