New Leak About Samsung's Double-Folded Phone
More and more information is emerging about Samsung's first double-folded phone, including the name and approximate launch.
It has long been rumored that Samsung is working on a so-called double-folded mobile, meaning one that is folded twice unlike the Galaxy Z Fold models which are folded once.
Now the publication Android Authority has published leaked information about the mobile, which is said to be named Galaxy G Fold. Most likely, the G in the name comes from the type of folding that is claimed to be used, called G-folding - imagine two Z Fold mobiles joined together with both outer parts folding inward. This folding differs from what is called Z-folding used by Huawei's double-folded Mate XT, which looks like a Z when viewed from the short side when folded.
When the screen is fully unfolded, it is said to become 9.96 inches, while an outer screen of 6.54 inches is used when the mobile is folded.
Galaxy G Fold is reported to be launched in the third quarter of 2025.
