Foreign citizens from 167 countries can now use Freja eID to access the Swedish Tax Agency's e-services.

The digital identification Freja eID announces that it has expanded its collaboration with the Swedish Tax Agency. The result is that foreign users from 167 countries can now use an e-identification from Freja eID to access certain e-services of the Swedish Tax Agency.

Previously, the collaboration only included foreign users from Norway, Denmark, Finland, and the United Kingdom. Now, however, citizens from all countries and independent territories that Freja supports for other functions can also use their e-identification to access the Swedish Tax Agency's services. These functions include, among other things, applying for a coordination number and notifying a move to Sweden.

Freja has government approval for foreign users at the same level of trust as those with a Swedish personal identity number or verified coordination number.
